Pavilion AV1 | Stackable chair

Behold the versatile Pavilion AV1 Stacking Chair, a creation inspired by the resilience of the Langelinie Pavilion located on the grounds of Copenhagen Castle, overlooking the seafront promenade that is home to the Little Mermaid. The first Pavilion was built in 1885, and Andersen & Voll's Pavilion chair celebrates this ability to endure.

The challenge here was to design a stackable chair for mass use in this iconic and versatile venue, the Langelinie Pavilion. The Pavilion chair has an airy feel, with its slender arms and legs giving it a light appearance. Now available with a contemporary chrome frame, adding a modern touch to its timeless design.

Customisation of the black, brass or chrome finish of the fittings on the front of the backrest is a rare feature on chairs in this category, giving you the freedom to create a look that reflects your personal aesthetic, adding a distinctive touch to this light-looking chair.

Production process :
The chair is made from bent steel tubes and pressure-formed veneer. The veneered back and seat are finished with a polyurethane (PU) varnish. All chairs have a stackable injected plastic top under the seat.
