Max-Beam echoes the clean, light aesthetic of the transparent or solid-coloured PMMA modules characteristic of the Kartell by Laufen project, which also includes the Sound-Rack unit — a system of small modular, stackable shelves.
In keeping with this same logic of graphic simplicity, Max-Beam presents itself as a compact, monolithic volume that is easy to integrate into a wide variety of environments. Versatile, it can be used as an occasional stool, small coffee table or practical surface, particularly in a bathroom or near a bed.
Its transparency or solid colours play subtly with the light, allowing it to blend into the space or bring a discreet touch of colour.
