The Madame armchair, designed in 2015 by Philippe Starck for Kartell, reinterprets the concept of the contemporary small armchair with a soft, welcoming and slightly enveloping silhouette. Its polycarbonate structure, available in transparent or solid-coloured versions, creates a graphic and lightweight base that highlights the curvature of the backrest and the openness of the seat.

The seat is made of polyurethane and covered with fabric, allowing Madame to take on different identities depending on the version. The armchair is available in several prestigious textile collaborations, including Rubelli® fabric, the vibrant and dynamic patterns of Emilio Pucci Edition, and the characteristic prints of Liberty®. These coverings transform Madame into a true decorative object, capable of blending into both a minimalist interior and a space with a more graphic feel.

Thanks to its compact design and rich fabrics, Madame naturally finds its place in a living room, bedroom, entrance hall or hotel space looking for an elegant and expressive seat.
