With Clap, Patricia Urquiola has designed a small armchair initially intended for communal spaces, but which is equally suited to residential use.
Its compact, balanced silhouette allows it to fit just as well in professional environments as in private interiors, where it naturally finds its place around a table, in a living space or an office.
The contrast between the mass-dyed technopolymer structure and the textile seat brings softness and sophistication, while asserting a contemporary identity. Available in carefully selected upholstery and colours, Clap embodies the Kartell approach, combining innovation, durability and functional elegance.
Depending on the configuration, the seat can be offered with Aquaclean® fabric, an eco-friendly textile designed for easy maintenance and enhanced resistance to daily use. Its structure limits the risk of accidental tears, especially in the presence of pets, and benefits from Safe Front treatment, which slows the proliferation of bacteria and dust mites.
Some versions are also available with fire-retardant treatments, meeting the current requirements for contract environments and public spaces.
