It is one of the rare creations of architect Viggo Boesen, who has associated himself with the Danish aesthetic of the 1930s, the funkis style. Little Petra is surprisingly small, able to adapt to all kinds of spaces, interiors and environments. Flush with the floor, open and enveloping, Little Petra VB1 accompanied by its footstool, ATD1 embodies the essence of a small lounge chair, allowing all sorts of sitting positions in every comfortable environment imaginable.
Architect Viggo Boesen's work reflects the Scandinavian "Funkis" style, a Nordic version of Art Deco. In contrast to the mass-produced materials and 'less is more' approach of the Bauhaus school of thought, Boesen brought a soft, warm and almost naïve aspect to design, pioneering new forms of upholstered furniture.

The frame is made from solid beech and plywood, then covered with HR foam and polyester wadding. The solid wood legs are CNC turned and milled.
