Maintenance:
Regularly dust away leaves and debris with a soft cloth or brush. Immediately clean stains with a damp cloth and natural soap. Cushion covers are machine washable up to 40°C/104°F. Use waterproof covers to protect your furniture from the elements. Make sure your furniture is completely dry before putting it away.

The beauty of solid wood: the beauty of natural materials lies in their irregularities and imperfections. Variations in grain and colour, knots, medullary rays and other natural characteristics are qualities specific to each wood.

The Jack collection in natural teak has not been given any finish or protective treatment. Over time, untreated furniture naturally turns grey due to prolonged exposure to the sun and rain. This change in colour is perfectly normal and superficial: it in no way affects the robustness or quality of the wood.

Teak naturally takes on a grey tint after 2 to 3 months of exposure to the sun, a development that can be appreciated as it is or can be prevented by applying a treatment 3 to 4 times a year.

To treat teak and maintain its original colour, it is recommended to use teak oil specially designed for outdoor wood, which can generally be purchased in DIY and gardening shops. It is advisable to choose a quality oil, suited to the climatic conditions of your region and the specific characteristics of teak.
