Refined rustic shape. The Icon model is a modern interpretation of the Classic model, which has been produced since 1918 and is the flagship of the traditional Swiss wooden chair.

The Icon brings the classic aesthetic of the inn chair into the 21st century. Its refined rustic form is the contemporary version for modern furniture made of glass, steel and concrete. With its perfection and the gap between tradition and modernity, the Icon model is an example of authentic Swissness. The Icon model has new proportions, a dynamic appearance and optimal seating comfort. The seat is more ergonomic thanks to the forward tapering seat frame, the more strongly curved rear frame and the more curved backrest. The backrest is slightly rounded at the front and straight at the back. The legs are squarer, the chair appears straight. The slightly more compact dimensions give the flagship product a perfect harmony.

With subtle details, the Hannes Wettstein studio has created a timeless chair with a formal lightness of touch that guarantees lasting seating comfort, whether at home or in restaurants. The Icon model was launched in 2012 during Designer's Saturday with the sound installation "A sky full of Music Boxes".
