Daily care :
Varnished wood items are coated with a protective layer. This finish gives the product its natural colour and provides effective protection against stains. Oiled oak furniture is treated with a coloured hardwax oil. This finish gives the furniture its natural colour and has the advantage of making the wood more resistant to stains. However, this finish does not completely protect the wood from stains. As with untreated wood, it is advisable to clean up any liquid splashes immediately.
For daily dusting, use a dry cloth. For cleaning or in the event of liquid splashes, use a damp cloth and natural soap. Rub in the direction of the grain. Do not use soaps containing detergents or other chemicals. Dry with a soft, clean cloth to avoid streaking.
