Yanzi Floor

Neri&Hu's activity is based on a constant research and on the desire to work on the dynamic interaction of experience, detail, material, form and light, instead of adapting to stereotyped formulas. In a synthesis between tradition and innovation, Yanzi is a light composition of graphic signs: a balance of structures such as branches or perches on which several stylized figures are based to decline versions and qualities of light. These are iconic swallows with brushed copper bodies, with heads like white glass spheres that enclose light, free or enclosed in glass cages. An extraordinary sensitivity in the juxtaposition of warm and cold materials, essential yet sought after. Yanzi is a perfect open system to build light compositions and light landscapes that animate spaces with poetry and elegance.
