Find out more about this product
First produced in a traditional Danish workshop in the first half of the 20th century by cabinetmaker Jørgen Wolff, the Wulff chaise longue is a striking example of the “modern Danish” design movement. The subtleties of small-scale artisan production are evident in its form: the sculptural, boundary-pushing armrests, which join a vast, wing-shaped backrest, are underpinned by the finest craftsmanship. Reissued by &Tradition for a modern audience, the chair's timeless architectural form adds a touch of elegance to any interior.
Lovingly re-edited by &Tradition, the timeless architectural form of the Wulff lounge chair adds a touch of style and elegance to any interior.
The subtleties of small-scale, hand-crafted manufacturing are clearly revealed in every detail of its form: from the bold, sculptural arms that push the boundaries of design to the graceful wings of the backrest, every element exudes high-quality craftsmanship.
Made from FSC®-certified wood, which supports the responsible environmental, social and economic management of the world's forests.
Production process:
The frame is made from solid beech and plywood, then covered with HR foam and polyester wadding. The solid wood legs are turned and milled using CNC machines.
