Find out more about this product
The Umbrella Stand, also known as Portaombrelli, is one of Kartell's great classics, designed in the 1960s by Gino Colombini and now reissued in recycled thermoplastic technopolymer. The material, derived from industrial waste, is reused to create a piece that is durable, robust and features a Soft Touch finish with a contemporary aesthetic.
Its cylindrical, injection-moulded design combines simplicity and efficiency. The two iconic side openings not only allow umbrella handles to be inserted, but also enable the object to be used as a wastepaper basket, making the Umbrella Stand a versatile accessory suitable for hallways, offices, public spaces or professional environments.
Indestructible, stable and easy to clean, this umbrella stand perfectly embodies the Kartell spirit: an essential form, direct functionality and an innovative approach to materials. This recycled reissue continues the history of a cult object, fully anchoring it in contemporary sustainability requirements.
