Unfold the light or fold it. Perez Ochando's latest innovation is a large-format flexible lamp designed to adapt to the different lighting requirements of large spaces.

A large black vertical structure forms the main shaft from which a number of rods emerge; some can be moved upwards to widen the light and others downwards to concentrate it. The rods are all fitted with a suspended spotlight that projects the light downwards or in a wide, pointed beam. The cylindrical spotlights - with an inner ring available in ivory, terracotta or gold - diffuse the light evenly.

This decorative luminaire, with its extremely graphic, easy-to-design profile, takes its inspiration from an old-fashioned winding machine: used to wind wire or thread around an axis to form a ball. Designers Pedro Ochando and Claudia Pérez are not interested in the function of the machine, but rather in its shape, which allows vertical movement with a horizontal effect.

Function / Regulation, make the right choice :

- ON-OFF / Triac: Because my electrical installation only has simple ON/OFF switches, I simply want to turn my lamp on/off, and have no intention of dimming it. (If in the future I wish to dim the light, Triac mode will allow me to do so, as long as my switches support this regulation protocol or are replaced for this purpose).

- ON-OFF / Casambi: Because my electrical installation only has ON/OFF switches, but with this choice I automatically have the possibility of dimming and managing the light, without having to adapt my electrical installation, for example by programming times when my lamp(s) come on/off. With Casambi, I can manage my lights via Bluetooth from my smartphone(s) using a free app, or I can buy a Bluetooth switch to stick on the wall(s) from my electrician, who will be able to advise me.

- DALI: Because my electrical installation is DALI, I'm already familiar with all the special features of this control system.
