Hand-woven in India, the AP18 & AP19 designs are distinguished by their sumptuous velvet appearance, enriched with cotton fringes that add a refined tactile dimension. Carefully selected New Zealand wool gives each rug an enveloping softness and lasting quality.

Production process:
The rug is hand-woven on a traditional loom to achieve a dense, soft and very exclusive velvety appearance. This texture is further enhanced by the subtle sheen of the material, obtained by adding a small amount of viscose to the wool fibres during spinning. Cotton fibres are used to bind the weave at the end of the process to create fringes.
