Quill expresses an understanding of the beauty that lies in the modest, rustic and imperfect – what the Japanese refer to as wabi sabi, a philosophy that is apparent throughout Tamura’s work. Treatment instructions :
Vacuum frequently.
Clean any stains with the appropriate solution before they dry.
Take the carpet to a specialized dry cleaner, if necessary.
Hand-tufted carpets are made with a thin layer of latex to secure the tufted yarns to the carpet base. The chemical solvents used in dry cleaning can damage this latex, which will permanently ruin your rug.
