Pinocchio

Hand-rolled felt balls strung on a cord and sewn into a circular rug. Pinocchio is named after a Danish brand of liquorice, which combines a colourful sugary glaze with a salty liquorice interior. The Pinocchio rugs are created in local workshops using traditional craft methods and thus help provide jobs in low-income areas in India and Nepal.
