Daily care :
Varnished wooden items are coated with a protective layer. This finish gives the product its natural colour and provides effective protection against stains. Oiled oak furniture is treated with a coloured hardwax oil. This finish gives the furniture its natural colour and has the advantage of making the wood more resistant to stains. However, this finish does not fully protect the wood against stains. Despite these treatments, it is advisable to clean up any liquid splashes immediately.

For daily dusting, use a dry cloth. For cleaning or in the event of liquid splashes, use a damp cloth and natural soap. Rub in the direction of the grain. Do not use soaps containing detergents or other chemicals. Dry with a soft, clean cloth to avoid streaking.

It is always advisable to protect the furniture top with a coaster, mouse pad or place mat, as intensive and repeated daily use or excessive heat can damage the appearance of the wood.

Occasionally move objects (flower pots, vases, etc.) placed on the furniture and immediately remove any excess water or moisture to prevent marks forming on the surface of the furniture.
