Parade Table Lamp 320

Inspired by the desire to create an ambient light source with a sculptural quality, Danish designers Viola Heyn-Johnsen and Jonas Trampedach have created the Parade Lamp series.

Made up of a square base and an arched top in coloured glass, the geometric shape means that the expression changes depending on the angle at which the lamp is turned. The carefully selected sizes and colours complement each other in height, tone and temperature, creating a cohesive effect that forms an interwoven pattern when several lamps are viewed together.

As attractive as a collection of light sculptures as it is as a single light source on a bedside table or displayed with other ornaments without the light on, Parade combines functionality and aesthetics to create a versatile and unique lamp. The integrated, customised LED light source, which can be replaced if necessary, features an in-line dimmer that allows the light output to be adjusted to different levels.
