An object of pure functionality that becomes a bearer of profound meaning. Oodh is a mirror conceived as a portal, an invitation to go beyond what is reflected, in search of meaning and authenticity.

It owes its inspiration to the journey that its designer, Lapo Ciatti, took to Cambodia to discover Khmer culture and its rich architectural heritage. When he saw the famous Angkor Wat complex - compared to the buildings of the ancient Greeks and Romans for the harmony of its forms - he was so struck by the great stone passageways that, repeating themselves, create infinite corridors, that he decided to transform them into a design object.

Oodh was designed to precisely reproduce these passages. Its shape is that of a portal rather than a traditional mirror; a large floor mirror without the lower frame section. The frame, meanwhile, is inspired by the bas-reliefs that surround the great doors of the temple: a succession of concaves and convexes, where each groove has a precise symbolic reference inspired by ancient divinities.

Oodh is a design object that remains true to the nature of our products, that of 'spices and sauces' for environments, furnishing complements with a strong identity capable of personalising a room with their presence that is both discreet and invasive. It's not a spice, in this case, but a fragrance: Oodh, synonymous with Agarwood, is in fact a resin that forms on the Aquilaria trees typical of South-East Asia and is used to produce incense and precious fragrances thanks to its highly recognisable aroma.

Made from anodised extruded aluminium, it is available in three sizes and two finishes (silver and brass). The mirror is fixed to the wall using a simple fastening system, and a back panel ensures its stability, safety and impact resistance.
