"Through the Coffee Table, Isamu Noguchi has transposed the biomorphic aesthetics of his sculptural works into a piece of furniture with characteristic organic lines. This is probably the reason why Noguchi considered the table his most successful furniture creation. Two wooden legs, available in black ash, maple or walnut, are arranged at right angles to form a stable support for the heavy, thick glass top.
Table top: Heavy glass plate, 19 mm, rounded and ground edges.
Legs: Solid black ash, walnut or maple, lacquered finish, rounded edges.
Wood origin: ash (Fraxinus excelsior), walnut (Juglans nigra) and maple (Acer platanoides) from Western Europe and/or Poland".
