Neotenic is a collection of table lamps born of the collaboration between Petite Friture and studio Jumbo. The collection's generous, round shapes echo the reassuring aesthetics of childhood. Its shape is reminiscent of cavatappi pasta. The grillotte, vermilion and vanilla colors, a signature of the Petite Friture universe, suggest the regressive image of eggplant and tomato sauce.
Pop and sculptural, Neotenic is also a technical table lamp. The quality of the light is pleasant, even and powerful.
The lamp base is made by ceramists in Portugal. The curvature of the base requires careful hand-finishing before and drying against gravity. Paint is applied in a single
stroke
