Designed by Vico Magistretti, Maralunga is one of Cassina’s most iconic models. An international bestseller, the collection is distinguished by its welcoming forms and generous padding, which have contributed to its success since its introduction.

Developed as a complement to the armchair and sofas in the collection, the ottoman retains the essential characteristics of the original project while serving as either an additional seat or a coordinated footrest.

In 2024, the Maralunga collection continued to evolve through research carried out in collaboration with the Fondazione Magistretti while preserving the principles that made the design successful. The ottoman follows this approach, adopting the characteristic materials and finishes of the collection.

To mark Maralunga’s 40th anniversary, Cassina introduced an updated version featuring characteristic perimeter stitching (Maralunga 40) together with a fully removable fabric-upholstered version (Maralunga 40-S).
