The sculptural Maap wall light, designed by Erwan Bouroullec, offers a free and intuitive approach to lighting, where form arises from movement. Conceived as a material to be shaped, it invites the creation of unique compositions that interact with the space and its uses.

Its lightweight, tear-resistant technical fibre shell attaches to a metal frame via a system of magnetic buttons. This frame, which is screwed to the wall, then accommodates the malleable shell, which bends, crumples and transforms to create organic and unpredictable forms. The magnetic buttons, beyond their functional role, also contribute to the overall aesthetic expression.

A true luminous wall sculpture, Maap diffuses a soft, enveloping light over a wide surface. The light source seems to fade into the background, giving way to a uniform halo, evoking a luminous cloud or a luminous opening, creating a soothing and immersive atmosphere. The freedom to choose the bulbs allows the lighting to be personalised to suit your needs, from a warm, cosy white to a brighter, more dynamic light.
