With its warm minimalism, the Lyra solid wood chair conveys the uncluttered language of the Horgenglarus collection into the 21st century. It is the perfected and comfortable version of the miro chair, compact and straight.

The geometry of the Lyra model is characterised by the pronounced curved shape of the backrest and the rear frame. The Lyra collection is the most popular chair collection and, with 32 models, the most comprehensive chair collection from Horgenglarus. With its various widths, depths, seat heights and materials, the Lyra collection is suitable for a wide range of architectural situations and styles. A canteen does not require the same chair as a café, a bistro or a prestigious restaurant. A town hall or boardroom does not have the same requirements as a hotel room or a private dining room. It is not unusual for large hotels, catering establishments or government offices to combine different uses in one building. The lyra model offers a multitude of functions while maintaining a harmonious design: different backrests, chairs, upholstered seats and lounge chairs as well as bar stools in two heights. You can also choose the seating comfort from the wooden seat to the very comfortable upholstery with straps.

The Lyra collection has its own character and identity. With the warm and natural aura of wood, the Lyra model presents a real contrast to the contemporary corporate identity. The Lyra was presented in 2008 with a crackling foliage installation during Designer's Saturday in Switzerland. The Lyra model is one of the latest creations by Hannes Wettstein.
