The Officina collection explores the possibility of creating a new creative language, confronting a very old technique such as iron forging.Designed by brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the collection -born in 2014 with the tables- is enriched this year with a new element: the wall-mounted bookcase.A sober and rigorous piece of furniture, whose strong points are the purity of the forms and the extreme functionality, but which is endowed, at the same time, with a lightness that gives it a dynamic and unexpected momentum. Wrought iron, the material that creates the aesthetic style of the entire collection, is found in
the essential anthracite grey lacquered structure, complemented by shelves in black-stained MDF or walnut. The shelves are available in two sizes: 1 meter and 2 meters. The 1 meter version of the bookcase is also available with writing surface.
