The story of the Secto 4200 began in 1995, when Tuula Jusélius, founder of Secto Design, and designer Seppo Koho, both passionate about Nordic wood and Scandinavian aesthetics, joined forces to create innovative furniture. But one challenge remained: the lack of matching wooden light fittings. The result is the Secto 4200 suspension lamp, the cornerstone of the Secto Design collection.

The Secto 4200 stands out for the attention paid to every detail. Its manufacture requires unique expertise, preserving its traditional character while meeting global demand. Its soft, warm lighting creates a soothing atmosphere, while the innovative use of wood surprises and seduces to this day. To protect this unique design, Secto Design is actively fighting counterfeiting, collaborating with organisations such as Love Original and Be Original Americas. Every Secto lamp now comes with a hologram guaranteeing its authenticity.
