In The Air Pendant 3 | Pendant light

With its UFO-like lights, the In The Air pendant lamp, designed by Douglas Mont, belongs to a world where retro-futuristic fantasy meets nostalgic science fiction. Inspired by the imagination of American comics and Hollywood B movies populated by flying saucers, this luminous creation evokes an aerial fleet moving in perfect weightlessness.

Available here in a composition of three light sources, In The Air displays a biomorphic and luminous aesthetic. The opalescent diffusers seem to float freely, with no visible anchor points, resting delicately on metal circles. Like the luminous totems of 1960s Italy, the pendant light finds its balance in space, like a levitating aerial station.

Depending on the number of light fixtures – three or six – the proportions and weight vary, without ever altering the visual DNA of the piece or its sculptural and poetic identity.
