Inspired by Danish hygge , designer Simon Legald created the Hyg furniture series. When the series was introduced in 2018, it consisted of a 2-seater sofa, lounge chairs and a footrest. In 2020, the range expands with a chair and a bar stool that share the characteristics of the lounge series: the generous and organic curves designed with an emphasis on sublime comfort.The concept of hygge is about feeling good - safety, warmth and comfort are all part of its DNA, and it is precisely these qualities that make up the Hyg collection model. With the new models, the range - and comfort - expands further and new possibilities arise for creating environments consistent with dining and living spaces.
