One becomes two and two becomes one: In simple terms, this is the principle of ga stuhl. Its two hulls make it a unique and innovative model from the 1950s. The Swiss architect and designer Hans Bellmann designed this chair in 1955 and horgenglarus made it until 1970. The oldest Swiss chair and table manufacturer is now reissuing the innovative ga stuhl. For ga stuhl, as for the Einpunkt chair four years earlier, Hans Bellmann experimented with moulded plywood and took advantage of the manufacturing possibilities for seat shells. He wanted to give another dimension to his two-dimensional hull. This idea was the starting point for his new conception.
