Created by Ferruccio Laviani for Kartell, the FL/Y has become a true icon of contemporary design.
Its simple, perfectly balanced shape evokes the lightness of a floating bubble suspended in the air. Beneath its apparent simplicity lies an ingenious design that allows for a uniform and enveloping diffusion of light, ideal above a table or in the centre of a room.
Made of recycled PMMA, transparent or opaque, or lacquered opaque or metallic PMMA, the FL/Y adapts to all interior styles. The transparent versions diffuse a colourful and vibrant light, playing with the reflections and transparency of the material, while the opaque or metallic finishes offer more direct and refined lighting, perfect for an elegant and contemporary atmosphere.
