Urs Esposito, a student of Antonio Citterio, designed a very sturdy stacking chair for horgenglarus. The wood of the seat is surrounded by a steel tube that protects it when the spirits are high in the room. The construction is above all space-saving, as the stacking height is only 20 mm. This means that 20 chairs can be stacked on a cart and up to three times as many chairs can be stored in the magazine. This makes the universal chair particularly suitable for mass events or community halls.
