Dipping light S | Table lamp

Beyond its function as a lamp, the Dipping Light seeks to move people. When it's switched on, its different shades of paint filter the light, creating a magical ambient effect. When it's off, its sphere of coloured glass is an object charged with beauty, an eye-catching piece of design for a shelf, bedside or table.

Jordi Canudas is an alchemist of light. He experiments with it, always seeking to be surprised by it and to learn from it. He wants to capture the essence of light. With this in mind, he created Dipping Light, another experiment in which a light bulb is dipped several times in paint, resulting in this table lamp.

The different layers of paint form concentric circles and capture the light while moderating its intensity. The paint becomes the lampshade, colouring and texturing the light. A brass or graphite base is added for support. This artisanal process makes each lamp a unique and exclusive creation.

The table-top Dipping Light S doesn't just come in one size: this most poetic of lamps offers more uses, and is also available in two other sizes (Dipping Light and Dipping Light M), as well as a stand-alone nomad version (Dipping Light Baladeuse). The Dipping Light M and Baladeuse versions include an integrated dimmer (with adjustable intensity).
