Venice 2024 architect trip

This year, Batiplus had the honor of organizing an inspiring trip to Venice, offering our architects and interior designers an exclusive experience at the heart of two emblematic houses of contemporary design: Fantoni and Arper.

On our first visit, we were privileged to discover the world of Fantoni, a benchmark for innovation and craftsmanship. The factory, a model of excellence, gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of their furniture and acoustic panels, renowned for their high quality and durability. With a strong commitment to the environment, Fantoni stands out for its impressive 98% recyclability rate, testifying to its desire to integrate sustainable solutions into its production processes.

Our second visit took us to Arper, where we explored the various stages of production, marked by remarkable attention to detail and craftsmanship. Sustainability being a fundamental pillar of the House, we had the opportunity to preview the new version of the iconic Catifa chair. Featuring an innovative shell in PaperShell, a material derived from composite wood, this redesigned version, christened Catifa Carta, embodies the future of responsible design. It will soon be available from Batiplus.
