Nicol SA - Porrentruy store reopens as Batiplus

Cessation of Nicol SA’s activities and rebirth of the iconic Porrentruy store under the Batiplus SA name.

After several years of dedication in the Jura region, Nicol SA is ceasing its activities. Unfortunately, the challenges encountered with various investors have not allowed the expected results to be achieved.

However, in order to ensure the sustainability of our services and strengthen our regional presence, we have decided to join Batiplus SA, a major and recognized player in French-speaking Switzerland (www.batiplus.ch).

This decision, made by the current team, allows us to preserve jobs and the Nicol SA showroom, while ensuring the continuity and development of the services offered. In this new structure, we wish to assure you that the day-to-day management of the Porrentruy showroom and all commercial activities in the Jura region will continue to be handled by the local Jura team, led by Manuel Benitez, current director of Nicol SA.

The Porrentruy entity will therefore continue to operate as usual, with the same local roots and the same commitment to serving the region with professionalism and dedication. Although the name is changing, we hope to continue being honored with your trust. While the company name evolves, your usual contacts remain unchanged. We remain fully committed to supporting you with the same reliability and service quality as in the past.

Concerning any purchases you may have made from Nicol SA over the past 48 months, the 2-year contractual warranty will be taken over by Batiplus SA, and the current Jura team will remain your point of contact if needed. We are launching this new chapter with great enthusiasm and look forward to surprising you starting August 26, 2025.
