Biny Floor

The DCWéditions Biny collection is named after the French industrial designer Jacques Biny who designed the lights. Today, the Biny wall lamps, the Biny spotlights and the Biny table lamp are produced by the design brand DCWéditions.

Efficiency and simplicity, discretion, elegance and modesty are the common denominators of Jacques Biny's work. These are the same qualities that inspired DCWéditions to reissue Jacques Biny's Box lamps.
For Jacques Biny, it was essential to find lighting solutions that were practical and could be used in different contexts. The Biny lamps meet this demand, as they come in different shapes. A rectangular, box-shaped, slatted body gives the Biny collection its unique appearance. What characterizes it are the small openings in the metal body that allow light to pass gently and discreetly to the outside.

The adjustable slats are black or white and serve to diffract the light and distribute it without dazzling. The Biny Box is available in three different sizes, with or without a switch. For the bedside, there is the Biny Bedside wall lamp which, in addition to the slats, has a directional spotlight for reading. The Biny table lamp shines with its remarkable foot.
The small but elegant Biny spotlights, with or without handle, are used to illuminate small areas with precision.
