Find out more about this product
Archivo, an original creation by Jaime Hayon, was born of a personal project for his own home. This piece of furniture combines robustness and softness, offering a storage solution that transcends mere utility to embrace the art of preserving significant objects and memories.
Archivo's design stands out for its irregularly divided shelves, bringing a touch of whimsy and ornament to any space. Designed to be more than just a piece of storage furniture, Archivo plays a crucial role in showcasing and preserving the personal collections that deserve a place of honour in contemporary interiors.
The combination of supple forms and solid structure makes Archivo a piece of furniture that is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, capable of transforming any space into a personal gallery where each object has its own story to tell.
In keeping with Jaime Hayon's commitment to sustainability, Archivo is made using FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood. This certification guarantees that the wood used comes from responsibly managed forests, ensuring respect for the environment as well as fair social and economic practices.
In the oak version, the shelves are made from CNC-cut MDF and covered with oak veneer tops and solid oak edges. A water-based clear lacquer is applied after manufacture. For the Sky Blue and Black Grey variants, the shelves are made from CNC-cut MDF, before a lacquer is applied after manufacture.
