What came first? Form or function? For the Alu-Twist, the answer is clear: both. This central-mast parasol is undeniably a model of aesthetics and comfort. Its canopy is easy to open with a crank, and it can be infinitely tilted thanks to a built-in rotation mechanism. To guarantee its longevity, it is made exclusively from the finest materials.
The frame and ribs are made from natural anodised aluminium. The Alu-Twist is designed for cornered outdoor spaces, balconies or as a complement to a Glatz giant parasol.
Wherever it's set up, it will always provide you with enough shade and a timeless note of modernity.
Canvas :
Canvas quality cat. 2: Canvas 100 % polyester approx. 220 g/m², colour fastness 5-6, UVPROTECTION > 98 %, easy care, stain and mildew resistant. Optimum protection against direct exposure to ultraviolet rays. Not recommended for areas exposed to wind.
Resistance to fading (first colour changes): The higher the fabric quality (e.g. polyacrylic), the stronger the colour fastness: Level 5-6, changes from 80-160 days.
Protective cover: Using a protective cover can extend the life of the fabric and slow down bleaching. That's why Glatz recommends its use.
