The classic since 1931. The Alexo is an icon. For over 90 years, this cult parasol has been combining design and functionality to perfection. Its Swiss ash pole with toothed crown joint and arched canopy make it a classic under the sun. Thanks to its ability to tilt up to 90° and pivot around its axis, making shade is child's play.
With a diameter of 200 to 220 cm, the Alexo is ideal where space is limited. Unbreakable ribs, an elegant, high-quality ash pole and a sturdy zinc die-cast crown gear joint guarantee long-lasting reliability. Not to mention the fastening technology and matching steering wheel. A blend of savoir-vivre and tradition.
Fabrics :
Fabric quality cat. 4: Fabric 100 % polyester approx. 250 g/m², solution dyed, colour fastness 7, UVPROTECTION > 98 %, easy care, stain and mildew resistant. Optimum protection against direct exposure to ultraviolet rays. Not recommended for areas exposed to strong winds.
Fabric quality cat. 5: 100% polyacrylic fabric approx. 300 g/m², solution dyed, colour fastness 7-8, UVPROTECTION > 98%, stain, water and oil repellent, anti-mould treatment. Optimum protection against direct exposure to ultraviolet rays. Recommended for areas exposed to strong winds.
Resistance to fading (first colour changes): The higher the fabric quality (e.g. polyacrylic), the stronger the colour fastness: Level 7-8, changes from 350 to 700 days / Level 7, changes around 350 days.
Protective cover: By using a protective cover it is possible to extend the life of the fabric and slow down the bleaching process. That's why Glatz recommends its use.
