Presented at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, the Accelsa Pendant translates the formal language of Angelo Mangiarotti's original table lamp into a suspended version, produced by Karakter in collaboration with Cassina. Crafted from mouth-blown Venetian opal glass, it provides direct, even illumination while highlighting the craftsmanship of the glass.
Architect, sculptor and designer Angelo Mangiarotti left a lasting mark on Italian design through an approach that combined structural precision, mastery of materials and formal simplicity. This new pendant extends the spirit of his work while offering a contemporary interpretation of one of his most iconic creations.
