Designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1927 and produced by Cassina within the iMaestri Collection, the low stool 9 is among the earliest explorations of tubular steel furniture. Its design is based on an essential structure combined with a carefully proportioned seat, illustrating the functional approach developed by the designer.
Originally created for Charlotte Perriand's Paris studio, this model retains the construction principles of the original version while benefiting from Cassina's manufacturing and finishing expertise. Versions in woven rattan, leather or terry cloth allow the article to suit a variety of uses and interior design projects.
