Organic Highback

" Created in 1940 by Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen for the "Organic Design in Home Furnishings" competition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Organic Highback is considered a classic. The comfortably upholstered compact chair with its high, strikingly shaped seat shell is also available with a medium backrest - the Organic Chair - or in the Organic Conference version for dining tables.

Seat shell: laminate.
Upholstery: polyurethane foam covered with fabric.
Legs: black ash or natural oak.
Glides: plastic glides for carpeting, additional felt glides for hard flooring also joined.
Wood origin: oak (Quercus robur) and ash (Fraxinus excelsior) from Western Europe and/or Poland".
