Within the Italian lighting galaxy of the 1970s and 1980s, some luminaires became bestsellers. Others transcended the era, leaving memories as powerful as their halogen lighting.

One such example is Mezzaluna, a half-moon floor lamp designed in 1975 by Bruno Gecchelin, which became the symbol of a decade but was eclipsed by obsolete halogen lighting. In 2024: a re-edition of Mezzaluna, adapted to LED technology, a re-edition that propels it back into orbit.
