"The Lounge Chair created by Charles and Ray Eames is one of the major creations of 20th century furniture design. Offering ultimate comfort, this elegant chair has been manufactured by Vitra since the 1950s, still using virtually the same production methods and high-quality materials. The Lounge Chair is available in two sizes and various combinations of leather upholstery, wooden shells and legs.

Seat and backrest: curved plywood, various veneers. Classic version in Santos rosewood (Brazil; certified sustainable development). Upholstery/upholstery: removable upholstery units, leather upholstery. Seat height: 380 mm (250 mm with applied load, measured according to EN 1335-1). Armrests: leather upholstery, connected to the seat and backrest shells by rubber and metal connectors. Frame: five-star swivel base or fixed four-star base (ottoman). Base and backrest bracket made of die-cast aluminium. Glides: all legs are equipped with hard glides for carpets; felt glides for hard floors are available as an option".
